Joe Dolan (born 27 May 1980 in Southwark) is an English semi-professional footballer, who plays as a defender. He is a former professional footballer who played at Football League level for Millwall, Stockport County, Brighton and Hove Albion and Leyton Orient. Dolan started his career as a trainee at Chelsea before moving onto Millwall where he was a first team regular for them before breaking his leg. When he returned he never reproduced the form that got him in the first team before the injury and went on loan to Crawley Town, Stockport County and Brighton and Hove Albion. In July 2005, he signed for Leyton Orient but that did not work out and was soon out on loan again to Stockport County and Fisher Athletic. Canvey Island signed him in January 2006 where he spent the remainder of the season before Francis Vines signed him in July 2006. Dolan left Basingstoke Town in October 2009 to rejoin Francis Vines at Isthmian Premier side Carshalton Athletic. In February 2010 Dolan joined Isthmian Division One South side Croydon Athletic. In November 2010 Dolan joined Isthmian Premier side Cray Wanderers. Dolan joined Kingstonian in December. In March 2011 Joe was dual registered at Lewes FC in the Conference South, before eventually joining Bromley FC. After joining Staines on a short term deal, he moved on to Havant & Waterlooville F.C. in February 2012. On 28 April 2012, Dolan scored an injury time winner against his previous club, Staines Town to save Havant and Waterlooville from relegation. He was released by the Havant in May 2012.
